Issue with rain [SOLVED]
now, I got a lot of mods installed. If you guys need any details, like my load order, my Mod Organizer list, ect, I will comply. Here's the issue.

It looks like the rain particles are stretched or something. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=928445968

What are your specs, and when did this start?
hedy May 19, 2017 @ 5:02pm
This started just as I recently installed all my mods. My specs are below:
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core, 4.00 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-basic processor
Video Card: GTX 1060 Ti 6GB

How many mods are we talking about? Installing a bunch of mods in a small amount of time is guaranteed to mess something up, especially if it was on an already existing save. You should post your mod list. It won't help me help you figure out the problem if you use mods I don't since I'm not that knowledgable on mods I don't use, but it might be good information for someone else that decides to help

well, oddly enough I got really lucky. Because I am aware that installing too many mods can break your game, but the only issue i've had since (I installed all these about 2 months ago) is the rain textures. I'll post my mod order list in a second, I'm assembling it in MS paint (It's quite large i think there's about 300 mods in there) Be warned, there are a couple vague names in there like "cow" and "high hrothgar textures", just a warning But they'll give you a decent idea of what they replace.

300 was an over estimation. it's actually 145. Here it is.

I'm also using Grim and Somber ENB, Malacath edition. Because "muh orc race"

this is why you install at most a couple of mods at a time and then test, so that you dont have to start over or go through isolating out of 145 mods

This isn't a big enough deal for me to do that..

For load order use LOOT: http://loot.github.io/
Top of LOOT screen hover cursor over icons and click. Download Arrow to update the masterlist, 3 bars to sort, click Apply. Read the warnings, and deal with them. ( Don't worry about the "Clean with..." messages yet.) Any time you mess with the load order, sort and apply the changes. Or if that doesn't clear up your problem then, 3 verticle dots, from drop-down menu click Copy Load Order and paste into the thread's reply box by right clicking mouse.

I'm using LOOT and SKSE already.

so you're implying that despite having no other issues but the rain textures, I should still bother uninstalling every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ individual mod and then WAIT for rain to spawn just to see if my issue's fixed? out of the 145 i have? you're absurd.

If you dont care, why are you still posting on this thread? I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm simply stating the issue is not severe enough for me to go back to each individual mod I own. Plus, I think I found the issue anyway.

sorry for the late reply, but I think you're right. I discovered a file in my folder called "enbraindrops"
I'm going to see what happens when I delete that. Thanks for the advice
hedy May 20, 2017 @ 12:47am
solved. wasn't the enbraindropsfile. Rather, it was an effect provided by my enb preset, grim and somber. It provides a seperate effect for the rain that is apparently glitched for me. I fixed it by going into enbseries.ini and going under the [RAIN] section, and turning the use rain effect to false. Thanks to all those that actually tried to assist me with my issue.
