So to get your employee work on a game you either assign the studios when creating a New game.

Or if it's already in the making, click on the game in dev, on the left menu, click on "select studios", in then select the studios and you're good to go.

However if you've assigned an HR to the studio, you might want to set employees' schedule. Click on the staff button, go to the HR panel, then set the schedules.

Cheers
If you decide to make a game or contract and in the appearing menu if it writes no stodio available that means all your studios are working properly.Allternatively,on the left side panel it lists all your games, contracts.engine works. If you move your mouse cursor on it and see the related studios working on it,then there is no problem.
on top of of the game name,a white bar is advancing from left to the right which shows your progress.
