5% Market share "The Unicorn"
Just wondering if anyone has gotten to that magic number yet? I know this is a new feature still in progress just seeing if anyone has gotten it done yet seems impossible to me, l but if someone has done it share some tips for us to hopefully get the same success! I really like the console part of the game just wanna be able to compete.

So leave your best tips and strategies so we can all be as good as grentendo Lol

The developer suggested to publish a lot of indie games on your own consoles because they require less time and money to be produced.

Just be ready with 4-5 studios, then release a console and only produce indie games untile you have 10-15 games on the catalog, this should help

Oh i've been trying lol I got 8 studios pumping games never cracked half a percent, but i just tried to make a console right before wataggi came out, and got a huge chunk of the market. I'm guessing that will disappear when the wataggi comes out lol

Update lost basically all market share once wataggi came out idk what to do with this i'd say leave it alone until v1.0 comes out

Highest market share I have managed with a console to date was 0.5%. I had 8 studios turning out Indie titles none stop and paying for other companies to publish games on it as well (catalogue was over 100 games). The developer has already said they are working on it so best to leave it for now.

The highest I've gotten so far is 3.7%. I had a specialized "elite" studio that was made up of only my starting "self" and the spontaneous hires that can go 99% on all three stats. I essentially made them my crack team to chase the dollars while my other, much more massive studios would crank out games as fast as possible. I also took advantage of the "publishing offer" option and maxed the sliders out to get the best possible game from another studio.

Every time I shoot for a console, though, I pretty much bankrupt myself getting higher market share or make billions, but never make it above 1-1 1/2%...it's kinda 50/50 atm.

making tons of indies is not working but making a lot of AAAs with many many studios may close you to the target.You should increase your fans number by making games to the largest platforms because just producing games for your console will not earn you enough fans even with magnificient scores.BUT the level you play is also impotant because in my first game in easiest mode i passed the 5% level.
