3) Today, subscription cost is the same as the original game's price

Hey,

That's quite an old post, and everything is part of the game right now,

Online games are indeed MMOs. Regarding subscription costs, you can set them it's no longer tied to the game's price. So you can make a free to play game with a monthly subscription. Or you can sell a game at 70$ without any subscription costs.

Let me share a tip with you. As soon as you have a digital store, make your online games exclusives to them. However I can add a tooltip explaining that's an MMO not only an online game.

Cheers

Where do you make them pay the monthly fee?

You can make MMO from 1996/1997. Monthly fee depends on the amount of server you have

Is it possible to get a little better explanation? I have "online"gaming, but I dont see anywhere I make money from it.

Are we just talking about "online gaming" as MMO's (like CoD, Battlefield, etc), or are we talking about a monthly fee like classic MMO terminology where it's set by the developer?

Do we have to make a specific MMO game from the beginning? I can't figure out how to do this.

Maybe another player can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

We are talking about MMO terminology with monthly fee. So normally MMO are cheaper than offline games, because players have to pay everysingle month to keep playing them. If yo uare experiencing poor sales, try to reduce the price of the game.

There is no panel showing the MMO's revenues yet, it is incoming.

Still very vague. I'll ask specific questions.

1) Is "Online game" the same as MMO in this game? I'm talking about the checkbox while you're making the game. Traditionally, an "online game" would not be the same as an MMO as we would think of it. CoD is an online game, but not an MMO like WoW.

2) How do you produce an MMO if online game is not the same?

3) Can you set the price of the monthly subscription, or is it built in?

Maybe this is obvious in game, but I certainly can't find it yet.

Thanks.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

So my MMO is no longer simply discontinued even though it's running great? Which console is set on which it was developed? Etc. If it's now treated like a WoW, can I really release this MMO 20+X for other consoles and improve it with DLC's?

P.S. Sorry, the text is from the translator.

Your MMO ain't discontinued unless you discontinue it. However if you release a MMO on Gamestation 1, as soon as the Gamestation 1 is discontinued you can't port it to another console nor publish any DLC.
