Can a general with fleet be withdrawn?
Hi guys!
I wonder if it's possible in any way to withdraw a general to update its ships. I already tried the search via search-engines and in this forum but found nothing that would help me here..
I read that somehow by sending a second general out it would delete the first ones fleet.. but so far it doesnt work that way for me.
If I send out a general with a fleet, he/she/it keeps this fleets ship until they get destroyed (which takes a looong time) - or until I jump to another system.

I want to be able to withdraw the general and update his fleet.
Any advice?

Thanks :)

Hey!

Sorry, I don't think it's possible to do it now. Why do you want to update the fleet, is the clearing speed too slow?

I wanted to be able to update the fleet because I usually play with the scavenger traits. Thus I get EXP from the battles the general does. I can update my ships this way but I have to wait until my general looses the fights before I can give him the newest ship designs..

I think the ability to update the fleet would help to encourage activity every now and then.

With big item bonuses it takes quite some time for the general's initial fleet to finally get crushed, so often I'm left with a long (and difficult to estimate) wait before I can send the general out with several hundred levels better ships.

This is something that my intuition tells me should be important, but in practice I've found that the scaling is such that I don't really push that much further with the more expensive ships. Being able to just set the best ships to go would make me a little more comfortable going AFK for some other purpose though.
