I feel like more should be done to inform users of the fact that game is avaliable on the dev's website

I would have definitely preferred to buy the game via the website since it supports the dev more due to no profit cuts and it lets me get a steam key anyway (if im reading that correctly) so i just feel like there should be more to inform buyers of the fact that the website is an option.
