Freaky Awesome and the Eternal Cylinder look like the most similar examples
I've played Freaky Awesome quite a lot and while I like it for the most part, it's also an abandoned 90% finished title with some embarrassing bugs, for example, some upgrades are mixed up, they have the description and name of other upgrades.
As for the OP's question, I don't know whether you mean the theme or the gameplay or just the plain rogue-ishness. The big names in the genre are certinly FTL, Spelunky, Rogue Legacy and Binding of Isaac. Ziggurat is good as well (Immortal Redneck is almost better, but abandoned).
Upcomming Space Robinson is pretty promising as well.
Thing is though, I find RAD to be pretty medicore, and I don't like Isaac's theme at all, so I might not be the best person to recommend you stuff.
