Would you agree, that the universe existed before life, and that everything that exists within the universe, including life, is made from materials which are of the universe
There is life only as we Humans know it, and there may be a "Universe" life, which we as Humans have no idea about, or have yet to discover.
"SOUND" is only when a "noise" is percieved by a living creature. But a"NOISE" is an actual physical result. SO a "NOISE" will be made, but not necessacarily "heard' .
SO YES a tree falling will make a physical "NOISE", but a "SOUND" may not be perceived.
Although also consider even the "Absolute Nothinness" is still a 'thing' but being absolutely empty of anything and any time.
The universe is all places, things, and times.
