What’s your excuse to not buy this game?

All the Dustborn defenders talk a big talk about this game but always have a reason on hand as to why they aren’t buying it. So what’s your excuse… reason not to get this supposedly great game?

I watch 2 hours of game on youtube i like the visual but the story seems to go up and down. The intro doesn't explain much in the game just introduce 4 characters in a car something happens. also the pacing felt off to me so I wont be picking this game up not unless its super cheap. I don't know who did the voice acting to the boss lady you meet at camp but boy does she sound enthusiastic lol

It's simple. How do you expect a game like this to succeed if you're making fun of 98% of the customer base? The remaining 2% isn't gonna make your game a hit.

Because When we play games.. the LAST thing we want is propaganda and pandering.
Why would I want to play a game where we are TOLD who the characters like to have sex with? Why does that freakin matter and why are the LGBTQ so obsessed with it?

When I play Sonic or Halo. I don't know or CARE if sonic or masterchief is gay, has pronouns, or straight, etc. Because it's NEVER talked about. We as a player, aren't told any of it because it doesn't matter. Keep it to yourself, and lets focus on the gameplay as it's a GAME.
Games like this focus solely on characters being gay and colored hair and ugly on purpose (which is insulting to actual people). I have gay friends, and none of them actually go around telling people theyre gay, nor are they ugly. They just look like normal people.

This game also pushes political narratives. Newsflash, there are other countries besides USA. This game is 100% propaganda to fit the devs opinions on something... which in turn pushes half an audience away immediatly. Why would you want to make a product and tell 50% of USA not to buy it? You do realize you're trying to make money, right??? You're not suppose to include your emotional opinions in a GAME.. thats why it's called a GAME, and that's why they're called your OPINIONS.

Also... When a DEI game or terrible starwars show fails, the devs blame Straight white males. Which makes no sense. Why would you HATE your fanbase, or tell any potential customers to F off? Also if those 'straight white males' aren't playing your game.. are you expecting your game to still be a success? You do realize If you make fun of your customers and put them down.. they aren't gonna play it, right?
You all act like the game failing is STRAIGHT WHITE peoples fault. Yet not even the LGBTQ people are playing this game (probably because they're only 2%). How do you expect a game like this to succeed if you're making fun of 98% of your customers?

This game is DEI filled and that means it's full of hatred. Hatred for certain people. It's focused on ONLY showcasing specific orientations and colors. Where as a normal game doesn't even take that into account.

This game is TRASH. And it's not only me that thinks that... It only has 20 reviews, yet Black Myth has 2,000,000 players, and doesn't talk about Politics or gender at all.

Why is everyone so ugly? Do you realize how offensive this is to ACTUAL gay people? THey DO NOT want to be seen as one of these stereotypes.

one of the characters LITERALLY has vitiligo. That's the most DEI thing I've ever seen. Only included because of vitiligo. THATS that characters personality.

You have to be a professional victim to have any degree of representation in this "game". Which the "modern audience" doesn't have time for because they're not trying to escape from the harsh realities of their own lives in video games.

I actually backed Dreamfall Chapters on Kickstarter(their previous game) and followed a lot of the updates. I guess I regret it, but... at the time I didn't really know anything about wokeness and DEI and how they would soon infect video games as well.

Overall, I think this is positive thing. They didn't ruin any established franchise and now publishers and developers will think twice about DEI infusion. Indie games will probably still run wild but definately smaller to mid to large size companies are going to thing about it long and hard. And we all get a good laugh out of it, and isn't that what matters???
