Fireball spell?
So early on the game has a tutorial about how to use arcanes, and shows fireball as an example. Did I miss it? I just killed the ancient guardian and never found a single spell other than the one that warps you back to a lantern.

I didn't get the fireball at the time either. Multiple tuts came up at times that didn't seem to have a mechanic attached to them, so I'm not sure if it was missed or the tuts are just poorly designed. Could be a bug that the item is not showing up perhaps.

I have found one other spell, a grasping hand thing, right at the beginning of the game but it would be a spoiler to explain how to get it. Just verifying they do exist.

That much is clear, but the tutorial leaves the impression that one should have found the arcane item nearby. Bringing up a mechanic an hour+ before the player can actually use it might result in confusion or the feeling that the player has missed something and will leave behind a valuable object when they get frustrated and continue on. It would be like having the tutorial about equipping new weapons and how to cycle between them, and not having those daggers right there to provide an example of the mechanic. It's not a massive issue or anything, just a bit odd.
If I, as well as anyone else who sees a similar issue are just missing something then so be it, we'll figure it out sooner or later and move on.
Loving the game by the way.

You can get another arcane item when you first talk to Mukddars. Just keep talking to him until he disappears...
