TMUF crashing when uploading official time

every now and then the game will crash when you finish and it uploads your time on official mode. Any fixes?

I'm having the same issue, but for me it only started after I started using a controller. Replying in case anyone figures it out

i've figured it out, if you're using a playstation controller like me, that's what's causing the issue. i don't know any official ways to solve the issue, but the trackmania competition patch by donadigo does include a fix for this problem (it's not on by default, you have to go settings->configure->advanced->inputs and tick "alternate method").
