Can we use our old TMU cd-key yet?

I have my old cd (pre Forever), my account and everything, but can't use my key on steam to get the game... Is there a way of making my old key work on steam?

Thank you for posting here.

While you won't be able to use this older PC Key to access the game on Steam, you can still launch the game through your Steam library if you have TrackMania United Forever installed elsewhere.

Thanks for the response.

I know how to add games outside Steam, thanks for the idea, but that's what I'm thinking, sadly. I was hoping to use my old key so TMU becomes a full Steam library title, so I have my friends conected, awards and so. It's a shame we can't do that.

Hey txivo,

I'm afraid not as the keys received as part of the of the physical disc are not part of those distributed by Steam, it isn't possible to input the key into Steam to receive a Steam copy.

You could try downloading TMNF from Steam and then follow these steps:
