I already have a Trackmania Nations account. Do I need a new account for Trackmania United?

I already have an account at Trackmania Nations with +5k ladder points. Can I import my account to United, or do I need to start anew with that same account? Or do I need to create a whole new account since my previous account is a "Nations" account, not a "United" account?

You should be able to import it, keeping the ladder points and ranking on the Stadium environment. Just login in TMUF with your TMN account and it should ask you if you want to convert it.

But attention, if you already purchased TMUF, created a new account and used the new key from TMUF on it, you won't be able to add your TMN account there.

I haven't yet bought the game. I will follow your advice when I will, and when converting my account to TMUF.
