Low graphic texture...

Hi,

I bought Trackmania United on Steam, but when I play, the texture are very low and weird ( road, advertisement, timer, dirt, etc) I don't understand because I set the texture on high, (I've a good pc so it's not due to a low configuration).
I also have Trackmania Nations Forever and it works very well, don't know why the United version doesn't work correctly. Does anyone know how to fix it ? Thanks !

Hi, that happened to me months ago and i found it was a file that steam doesnt upload or somethin like that. I had to reset my pc weeks ago and forgot that so im looking for that file here, where i found it the first time haahh so if i find it again ill put it here.

so here u are:

Go to your Steam\SteamApps\common\trackmania united draw.

Locate the Nadeo Configuration Settings ini.

Not the STEAM_Nadeo, dont touch that one.

Edit the Nadeo Configuration Settings ini with word or whatever u have.

Change the Distro to Distro=MILIN

Then download the http://files2.trackmaniaforever.com/TmUnitedForever_Update_2010-03-15_Setup.exe And browse to your Steam\SteamApps\common\trackmania united draw.

Oh I did that for an issue I had with Trackmania Nations Forever (white screen) and it works well :) But I did that too on the United version but nothing changes... and when I try to run the update it says "You don't need to install this version".

Seems like TM United works, when I play to TMNF I no longer have freezone, and I have the "United" banners at the beginning of the tracks. It's weird because I have to launch TMNF to play to TM United, maybe my account was just upgraded.

It happened to me also but and I started the game (not by desktop,by the separator "games" in steam).
And there were 2 options and i selected the last one. Then in settings u can change the graphics!
