Game says to register my player key

When I press play it just says I need to register my player key and it wont run the game.
what do I do?
I added the key on to TMN but even on that account I cant use skins or I cant see them when im in game and it wont let me make and save a custom skin.

how do I fix this? where do I go to register my player key?

If you have bought TMU from Steam, you'll get CD key from game library and right clicking Manage - CD Keys.

For those who have old TMU accounts but can't remember CD key, just google some random CD key for this game. This method won't allow you to register new accounts.
