Graphic issue. Blurry textures

I changed distro to DISTRO=MILIN (doesn't work)
I set AGP usage 100% (doesn't work)
I set medium settings, i had very high (doesn't work)
I reinstalled (doesn't work)
I installed patch 2010-03-15 (doesn't work)

Problem solved. I tried again to install patch and it worked.

getting the same problem, which patch did you use?

And before downloading you have to change DISTRO=MILIN
In nadeo.ini.
It worked but i had to unistall nations forever and united. Then I installed united, and then nations forever. Next I change DISTRO to DISTRO=MILIN and installed patch.

This patch only works for some people, even when done right. I've got 3 computers, one with better specs than yours and two with lower. The 2 best I have can't use the patch but my school laptop works fine. They won't bother fixing this game when they've got a sequel out there making money.

To fix the blurry textures, I just turned off anti-aliasing

No offense, but couldn't you talk to the higher ups to push a update for the steam version? Since this bug is tied to VRAM being more than 2gb, the 2010 patch fixes the bug. The steam version is a older version of the game.

Hey diskrzs, I've now asked our Trackmania team on why there was no update to the Steam version to push the patch to the game. I will do my best to update you on why and if there is any workaround if and when I hear back. Thanks for letting us know about this and bringing it to our attention.

Hello everyone, in answer to my last post, there was not a definitive reason at the time when the game was released, as to why the low texture and graphics patch was not pushed to the Steam version of the game later on.

However, if you have bought the game through the Steam store, you should be able to also download the full patched version from outside Steam via the Maniaplanet website.

This can be done by logging into your player page on the website here - https://player.trackmania.com/main.php?view=downloads

I hope this can provide at least a workaround to this patch issue for some of you.

So they're still not going to push the patch for the Steam release, yet are still selling it for almost 30 euros in the Steam store? Unbelievable...

Yeah, the pricing is pretty unreasonable. It's worse than some COD games when it comes to TM games as they only receive 50% sale at the maximum and the MSPR is too much.It deserves better. The only reason i bought them is because i really like the series.

Still i don't think it should be sold this way tho, especially with that premium price 12 years later. Even the F2P version (nations forever) doesn't have this bug with my 1080 ti which has 11GB vram

The site that was mentioned, i don't think it works anymore to login as i keep getting a authentication error, even though i'm pretty sure my details are right, as i can login into the game just fine, but not on that site.

Still though, it shouldn't be too difficult to patch the game through steam to be up to date. I have the steam data files and i replaced the nadeo.ini, tmforever.exe & tmforeverlauncher.exe with the .exe & .ini from the 2010 patch and that has fixed the problem as well with the low res textures

Anyway, would it be possible for Ubisoft to release the older TM games on GOG or even Steam? The original TM with the up to date version (v1.5.2) with the sunrise engine & TM sunrise without the Starforce DRM?
