Neither by selling all junk nor selling them individually.
I get the message "you sold an antique" and all that but no money recieved.
I am on my second playthrough now and even though I'm getting the pop-ups I am in fact not getting any bonus money. It seemed to work during my first playthrough just fine but now I'm not sure. I remember getting a message for $6,000 (one of the Mystery Items) but never got money from that. The smaller sales did give me bonus money though.
But in short in the current playthrough it's not working at all. Any fixes for this bug?
EDIT: Tried things out and found out that the only way for the Perk to work is to sell things by clicking the "Sell all junk" button. That way the Perk should work as intended. For some reason even if the game displays the bonus money pop-up while selling the junk items individually it does not in fact award any bonus money, no matter the junk item sold.
Fun fact...occasionally it works.
Very rarily when you sell junk as an antique, it works. You get the money however only after you left the trader. And even if it works, and very rarely it only seems to work with....those random merchants you meet on the map whom you use kiss ass on.
When it works you can cash in, when it does not...it is ... just false hope the game gives.
