Consistent Crash (spoiler)

The game is crashing every time the set piece/Scar collectors attack Ranger HQ on Liberty's behalf. This is maybe 2/3 of the way though the game. I've got 50 hours into W3 and this is frustrating and not sure how I can fix this. Specs are well above where they need to be to run the game. It's always when the AI is moving the enemies. I've tried to approach the battle from several different routes and it always crashes. This game has never crashed or even had a performance hiccup until this issue! What do I do??

'Fixed' it and moved past this battle. As an FYI to anyone who gets this crash too, I disabled auto-save, turned off simultaneous AI movement and did not use any deploy-able items (turrets, grenades, med kits, etc) or any precision strike or metered attacks. Most of this was suggested in various places from others who've had this crash. It helped me clear this frustrating bugged section, so hopefully it'll work for you if you encounter it too.

I am hitting this issue too and can't seem to get past it no matter what settings I try

Im having a crash at the end of the tutorial, where the Dorsey Gang leaders head explodes. Ill try disabling simultaneous movement, and see if that helps. Ive tried several other settings, but not these. This is shutting down my entire PC, in the exact same spot, every time, and I cannot get past it.
