Game crashes randomly when entering vehicle

It doesn't happen every time I get into my vehicle, but it seems like every time my game crashes now, it always happens when I enter my vehicle.

What happened + my attempts at determining the issue:

I finished killing all of the gippers after helping the machine commune by giving them ronald reagan. I told the Rangers that the Valor was ready for pickup to be arrested. Before leaving, it gave me the option to stay and fight some other people, which I did. After this point, a save was created which we'll call save 1.

CRASH 1:
I left Denver and was heading back to base, and then had a random encounter to fight some enemies. After killing the enemies, I hit A to get into my vehicle and then the game crashed.

CRASH 2:
I went back to save 1, had a different but similar random encounter, hit A to get into vehicle and then crashed again.

CRASH 3:
After that, I clicked the Steam option for verifying the integrity of the files. And then after that, I decided to just uninstall the game, and then install it again to be safe. I started up the game again, went to save 1, and I can't remember, but I believe I tried doing the same thing as the first 2 crashes which resulted in another crash.

CRASH 4:
The fourth time I loaded save 1, I then walked back to the machine commune, bought some stuff, walked back, fought some enemies along the way, found a new area with more creatures near the Denver entrance. I cleared out all of those enemies and saved the game; we'll call this save 2. I hit A to get into my vehicle and the game crashed.

I reloaded save 2, and hit A to get into my vehicle and loaded just fine. But, based on this has been performing, I'm pretty sure the game is just going to eventually crash again when I get into my vehicle.

After this point, I thought maybe every time I got into combat, left combat, and then got into my vehicle, this would cause a crash. So I loaded save 2, went and fought a random machine vendor in Denver, and then hit A to get into my vehicle but it loaded just fine.

Note: I never had crashing issues like this before the last big patch (patch 1.2.0 "Meat Maker Marinade"). I played roughly 45 hours before the last patch but then stopped playing and decided to wait for the next big patch. After the patch came out, I believe I started up and played the game for an hour maybe but that was about it. I then recently decided to try and start playing it again (today) which is when I started having issues.

Please let me know if there's any error logs that I can view/post to help find the issue.

Also, my graphics card is up to date.

I'd recommend contacting our support department directly. Sporadic or inconsistent crashes tend to be the result of a hardware issue or software conflict. Before that if you want to try a 'clean boot' before launching the game that could help identify if it's another program: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

Contacting our support department with your dxdiag might allow us to see potential driver related issues or conflicts. A hardware issue (failing RAM, overheating video card/cpu, etc.) are harder to pinpoint. The best—but not surefire—way of ruling that out is playing a highly demanding game like a graphically intense FPS.
