Which one do you choose?

Free them and hand over Di?
Kill Di and totally free synths?
Reset synths and Di lives?

I don't know what will happen to Di if I hand it over.
I quite like this NPC, and don't want it dies, but also I prefer to set synths free.....

The choice is based on your moral. Just do what you like as long as you are fine with it.

Given the history of the synths and their portrayal in the series, killing them is the only "correct" position.

I would like to do so but Machine Commune and Steeltown really gave me some thought.
