If I me"a"t fishlips, I will shoot him.
Yes I thought about it, but it feels cheaty. Had to use ~~315 of my resources, at least 21 batteries, to create enough of those batteries, at the end I just didn't care anymore about the holy radiation.
His head on a spike is also a infinite source of happiness. If I could only play this way, but really I even had to shoot Fishlips, grossed me out from the first moment I had to look into his deranged face and horrible dental plan.
Cool game when it evokes emotions, everytime when I think I don't want to go on, I've to laugh about the one or other ingame joke or the over the top atrocities.
My understanding is even if you kill or keep the mushroom prisoneer in your HQ at the start, some other npc fills the mushroom seller role in holy detonation. It's just not a story call back.
Wanted to leave him in his cell, but I was unsure, so I read a regular "guide", which stated that he is not dangerous.
It's the guy where you radiate the mushrooms or, should be the research area, with the clone coming back to life over and over again and in my case the prisoner conducting his research?
Maybe they replaced him by now?
according to wiki
"
Once you're through, there's a large biological laboratory to the south, with your old pal, The Prisoner from Peterson AFB, there (if you let him out). He'll confess to slaughtering the refugees at Steeltown, and will provide a steady supply of mushrooms if you barter with him (you can just not ask what he's been up to)."
So no idea if there is another one. I met this dude and wasn't going to haggle with a psychopath.
Ofc thank you all with this tip.
Ah okay, naming Fishlip in one sentence with the prisoner is confusing, now I get it.
or the cannibal jamboree.
it's plausible that some humans might become cannibals out of desperation, but we have it hardwired into our bodies not to like it.
i get it, they deliberately exaggerated it for comedic effect, but suspension of disbelief only goes so far.
still fishlips is funny with his mushmouth swearing. . and he's loyal, he's literally like a beaten dog that follows the new alpha. he doesn't even complain when you slaughter other cannibals. i even retrained him to be a kissass and had him talk some cannibals down.
edit : i mentioned fishlips because you can use him as the sacrifice to deuterium, if you want to reunite the 2 factions. if you don't like fishlips, turning him into a ghoul seems to be poetic justice at the very least.
i didn't do it, because i had him specced the way i wanted him and didn't want to train up a new guy.
i ccould have sacrificed scotchmo, but that just felt wrong, and yeah, i realize i'm talking about digital data as if they are real people with real feelings and not just graphical sprites
Fishlips seemed honest, loved the part as he tried to give up and we continued to slaughter his gang and he said something along the line "just get over with it"
But damn he is so ugly and as I read also diseased
fishlips is a dirty sleaze, as evidenced by his response if you ask him to be in eidolon's play.
I assume he's called fishlips because of all his facial piercings, ya know, like a fish that has been caught and released one too many times.
