Premade Vs Custom: Roleplay Perspective

Is there any unique dialogue for using premade characters who have relationships, like the father and daughter?

Or do they treat each other as generically as the Custom-made characters?

Not none but not a lot within in the first few hours at least, from what I saw. They do have some unique banter.

Can the premades be modified at all? New appearance or renamed?

Don't think so, no. Probably not a big deal if you want to just continue, though. The voices are still drawn from ones you can choose from your customs. Just a few extra lines.

you should be able to play dress up doll with them once you unlock it at the HQ early on. It's in the place refugees are found. Sleeping quarters.

Never tried, just don't see why that would be prevented. So I don't know how much customisation it affords you.

There is a little bit but honestly, and personally, I find the satisfaction from RPing characters of my own design much greater than the small amount of custom dialogue we have for the premades. Up to you, but I say double down on RPing the folks you've made and don't sweat it.

Ultimately I agree. Rather stick with my own customs. I just wish I could define a relationship between them and actually have the game acknowledge it...even if only with a few lines...the way it does for the "official" pairs.

Also, I really wish ya'll would fix the Orange Eyebrows bug.

Well, at least I got facepaint option now to cover it. I dont think that was in at launch lol

Also just out of curiosity when/where do these lines happen? Just ran through the tutorial with the two young ranger lovers and noticed nothing.

if you want unique conversation get Victory in your team and go see Valor and the Patriarch.
or have Cordite with you and visit the Patriarch.
or save the hostages with Jodie.

The father and daughter had a few words about the mom while exploring the outside of the new Ranger HQ. That is all so far, but I haven't brought Valor to the Patriarch, or encountered Victory.

I read about an idea for an optimal start, which argued for starting with the two young Rangers in order to get Yuri's charm for its +10% ranged damage, and then recruiting your actual team after the tutorial, and ditching the premades while keeping their stuff. But that's not roleplaying. I guess.

Yeah I noticed they had unique utility items. A cool option would be maybe a miniquest later to recover the bodies from the lake for proper Ranger burials/cremations, and you can recover ALL the premades unique items too. Maybe even a little comment over their individual remains
