WTF Morningstar and AIs

This is my WTF hindsight rant of frustration. The dependency on Morningstar AI for additional vehicle AIs is maddening. The wasteland world full is full of tech, yet there's only 2 AIs available for the vehicle, and two of the cooler vehicle grades (rad shield and turbo) both require morningstar!?!
Why isn't there other AI options in the game, and why is something so key for the vehicle presented so trivially in the game, like it's a matter of having a different voice for the vehicle vs. a really cool weapon. If the in-game choice included "morningstar could allow for possible future advanced vehicle upgrades..." it'd be a no brainer. I tried to play the game early on without spoilers, but now really wished I spoiled every step because of the inadequate information provided in game to make such an important decision. And no, I'm not going to spend the time to re-play anything from the morning star decision point, I'd rather gripe about it and move on to the next game.... lol.

Wasteland 3 is one step forward and two steps in basically everything LOL

It does great stuff but at the same time make it into a problem i mean inventory doesn't even have sort....like what 2020 game doesn't have item sort
