DEnver ice block

In Denver ruins there is an ice block enclosed in walls. I tried to use rocket launcher (LAW) to shatter the walls and get access to ice block. I shot all 4 walls - no cigar. Any ideas ? One of the walktroughs (with Denver ruins map) shows this location as 13, and the advice is to shhot it with a rocket launcher...but it does not work.

ice blocks melt with flamethrowers....you don't need anyone trained to use oned just have one at all times and equip it. There are things trapped in ice on a lot of maps.

Yes - I know that. But this particular ice block is SURROUNDED by walls. The wall(s) need to be destroyed in order to use flamethrower...I tried to melt this ice block - but with walls in place it does not work.

hey, my melee character is using energy batt and it worked as well.

Any chance it's not a regular rocket launcher? As in it's dealing something other than explosive damage?

I'm pretty sure LAW is a typical rocket launcher. I don't remember any ice blocks surrounded by walls, though.

The clue is written on the wall.

I hit it with a hammer and the wall went down with one hit. Blasting the block with an energy weapon melted the ice.

In the Godfisher camp? I just shot the one destructible wall with regular guns then melted the ice with the flamethrower.

Hmm...I will try with regular guns - but why the rocket launcher doesn't work there ?!

smack it with melee strike. wall tells u to use strenght

Thanks this worked and then used my fire shotgun to melt the ice. Thanks for the help!

Smashing the wall also helps on the detention level of Cheyenne Mountain.
