Sans Luxe: Bug or perception check fail?

I'm in the Sans Luxe Apartments, unit 4 (right across from Irv's unit) and when I enable the highlight item option I see a highlight around the toaster and two books nearby.

The toaster is fine, but I can't seem to interact with the books at all.
Perception is currently at 5 and can't find any info online about these books.

Any idea what's going on here?

i think its just a bug. I've had that also and sometimes the books are "lit up" by hilight all, and sometimes not. Either way you can't interact with them, so it doesn't matter the toaster is the only thing in the room. The books are just glitchy. There are some bugs in the game still, thankfully not many of those hi-light glitchy ones. You'll run into visual bugs with saving/entering rooms and nothing showing up, and some other stuff. So far i haven't ran into anything that couldn't be worked around by restarting the game or something.
