How does Co-Op/Coop/Co Op work?
Is it like Divinity where you play through the main campaign with them?

How many friends can play in one campaign?

Do you divvy up control of the various characters, does each player make a custom one at the start?

Are there any serious issues/bugs?

Right after the first mission, each of you can create another custom character if you want to. After having 4 custom Characters in your squad you can only fill out the last 2 Spots with NPC Characters you meet throughout the game who can interfere in dialogue and such (You will also play these NPCs and level them up like you would your custom character.). Every player will play 3 characters once you reached your team capacity.

Would like to know as well! The main draw for me is co-op play, been waiting since release for those issues to be patched up.

Could you explain/give some examples of what you mean by this?

Aside from that, my main question has to do with dialog.

Do both players get to see/hear/read the dialog interaction with NPCs? Or only the player who clicks to interact with them?

Both Players get to see and hear the Dialogue. If not quick saving and reloading fixes it usally. But for most of the time it works out fine.

In Dialogue Both players can express their desired response per button press and you have unlimited time to discuss.
