No, however back in Feb we kicked off threads[forums.inxile-entertainment.com] to try and get some feedback from the community about that. It's still only a possibility, and if it were to come to pass would not likely happen until after the DLC projects came to pass. Again, still just something we're considering and not a guaranteed development.

This thread is very disheartening. I have been waiting for NG+ to play through the game again since anything other than that to me is repetitive without real purpose. Sorry the developer and I do not see eye to eye on this, and this is not a priority for them. Just wish I could refund some or all of the purchase money if this is their belief on the issue. I've been a supporter of the game since Wasteland 1; however, I cannot even begin to understand why they would do this.

Because they have more important things to focus on at the moment?

Introducing game breaking bugs by not fully beta-testing DLC and releasing them half-baked you mean?

you absolutely need a NG + the game once finished has zero replayability seen the reset of all progress in fact I ignored the dlc on purpose for this reason since I had finished the game I'm sorry to say but right now I do not recommend buying sorry my bad eng:steammocking:

NG+ is a game mechanic pioneered by Japanese RPGs which have less meaning for western RPGs. Originally this game had certain weapon mods that were unique that would be nice to carry over to a NG+ to get more than one, but with the introduction of crafting and recipes, they are no longer unique although certain recipes don't show up until so late that they might as well be unique.
What takes the place of NG+ as an incentive for starting a new game are 1) different choices you can make in the game (being evil, good, or neutral for lack of a better description) or 2) Steam Achievements - you can't get em all in one play through - there are some that are mutually exclusive.
If inXile does introduce an NG+ mechanic, my vote would be to carry over recipes.

Quick, someone list CRPGs with NG+. I'm drawing a complete blank.

Kind of defeats the purpose of a CRPG actually, especially if there's a level cap.

There's still plenty. This game suffers especially from cool gear and perks that you only get for 5-10% of the game. Getting to use that for an entire playthrough, even against really high level enemies with no further character progression, would definitely be awesome for some people. You can *sort of* do it with cheat engine, but it's messy and the game clearly isn't made for it in its current state. But the previous game had a veteran system that basically acted as ng+ and it was great, I was really disappointed to see it gone here
