Two Weapon Modding SkillBooks ?
Hey
it's my 4th run but I cannot find an answer anywhere.
'Forewarned is forearmed', the weapon skillbook, is given by Bulb at the tellurical mine (or whatever is the name) if you bring back his dog's collar. However, according to WL3 wiki, you can find the same book in a bunker. During my last run, I was given the book by Bulb and there was not any bunker giving Forewarned is forearmed.
Was it a glitch or both books are mutually exclusive ?
Do you guys have any info?

The internet is full of outdated info. They took out all of the bunker books in a patch a while back. As of right now, there is exactly one skill book for each skill.

As Radiac mentioned, once Crafting was introduced, those books were replaced by crafting recipes for what used to be unique weapon mods. In the game, the bunkers are called Hidden Structures and they have static placements - they don't move around like some other random locations you find on the map. I believe there are six of them. The weaponsmithing book was replaced with the recipe for the Computer Assisted Laser Sight.
Thank you guys. Yeah, sadly the info on the internet is really outdaded in general...

@rhony2 where do you get your information? do you use any website?

A lot of the information i was using is from the wiki or from random threads for very specific points. (So not very good and or outdated information)

Google is my best friend. However, for the craftable weapons recipe locations, I found a post on the inXile forums:

https://forums.inxile-entertainment.com/viewtopic.php?t=22849

Also, I am currently on my third run. Generally for games like this I follow a pattern:
1st run - usually on easy or normal setting just to get a feel for the game and see how it runs. Almost never complete the first run.
2nd run - usually on normal setting using custom characters based on experiences with the first run. Do lots of save-scumming to see what uses RNG in the game and what is static. Try to complete this using what I figure is the "preferred" outcome of the developers. This probably takes the most time - I'd estimate I save-scummed several thousand times on this game.
3rd run - up the difficulty setting and try different things to get the different achievements. Takes less time since I now know when to save scum and when its meaningless. On this run I am noting the recipe locations for things other than the weapons and mods in the link above. This run is when I found that the Hidden Structure locations were static as they were in the exact same place as the 2nd run.
Its more or less what I do as well rhony but thanks :)
Ill check inxil forums and i really love these devs anw
