Be constantly disgusted at how amateurishly hamfisted the faux RP-choices are (and struggle to enjoy the game).
That's your real choices for 98% of the game.
Just like real life funny.
the game is not deep. the series has always had a weird fixation on cannibalism. the load times suck..the story of 2 is probably end to end better than 3.
all that being said i still enjoy the series more than most in spite of those flaws.
I like games that reward players for their problem solving/finding solution to issues etc instead of simple "loot vs reputation/moral choice" decisions, they feel empty/forced
Heck I have a whole prison, what about taking la perla to a torture room for the codes, or better how did she get the codes? can't we use high nerde stuff to crack it open ??
Or better, do an ATOM RPG style luck check "[LUCK 8] you smash random numbers on the keylock, surprisingly the door opens !!!!!"
Then don't get the codes. What you're gonna find in the base it's just loot anyway, it doesn't have any implication in the story.
Besides, when you enter Liberty's place, you find hailie there with the rest of the slaves, she said she would call the guards just for revenge but I persuaded her that after this is over she would be free and she shut up.
So, you can get the codes and get her free(eventually) anyway. Everyone's happy.
I knew it, and I killed the slavers anyway. I like that the game doesn't do what other RPGs do and give you a better reward later for "doing the right thing". You legit have to make a sacrifice and give up lots of loot just to be morally upstanding. And you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for doing so. It's great.
I wish there was a way to stay on good terms with the Gippers, though. I really liked them.
????? Of course you can stay in good term with gippers, as long as you let them have val
