Game far too easy on normal difficulty
Ok, i regret not having taken the more difficult options in the start.
Yea, game can be hard until you hit some certain levels and find some decent guns, but after that and doing all side quests, so my guys are lvl26 in the final battle and having awesome guns and stuff, it´s really cake.
It was already when leaving Bizarre, because I was around lvl14 and going to Denver (recommend lvl9) and rocked everything there. From that on i never had a real challenging fight....
A pitty, but I won´t start from scratch again.

In addition money is no factor when you get the lvl7 perk form trading (why it´s not lvl10 ??). I flow in cahs and bought all munition from all available merchants....

That happens regardless of difficulty. The endgame very clearly hasn't been tested much. Once you reach critical mass, so to speak, you roll over everything.

That money exploit is supposedly being patched.

It´s no exploit - it´s a regular perk at lvl7 for trading! So where´s the exploit !

Yeah i wouldn't call it an exploit it's the only decent thing the barter tree has. Up to the player how he (ab)uses it. Is it OP ? Don't care in SP. Same thing can be said of other perk and combo's for insane damage, or major persuasion dialogue options you have etc...

The buy more pay les one is weird (would need to see the math behind it) but if you buy ammo (example) base value of 2$ and end up paying more than 100$ for 50 rounds .... does not compute in my mind ;-) maybe those - ... % reductions are involved or something but still ….

I said normal difficult, not easy.....so first read, then write ! Dumb one....

Hello, same for me i just finished the game in hard difficulty and it was pretty easy. You can have powerful weapon at the begining like the boss of the nightclub. At this level I would have preferred just to have enemies with always 2 or 3 level more than me .... depend of the difficulty.

Even without the barter lvl 7 broken skill, the game is easy on Supreme Jerk after Bizarre. The balance with the weapons you get and skills you have just doesnt work properly, even though the enemies tend to have ridiculous ammounts of HP. Exploration and quest parts also break after that too, the first 10-14 ish levels and areas of the game just have better balance, content and variation. There are some harder fights on Supreme Jerk, but nothing that you need to think about too much.
The first Clown fights and cats or tails power armor convoy battle are the hardest part of the game on SJ.

Being able to buy back the scrap you sold and then resell it to have the perk proc ad infinitum I am fairly certain was not the intended way that perk was supposed to work.

Team turn orders. That is the problem with all difficulties. With the player being able to initiate the fight and go first almost every time, and all 6 characters getting to deal damage before the AI, you end up with battles lasting 2-3 turns every time.

Initiative based turn order would solve so many problems. Can be as simple as DOS2, where the highest initiative just determines which team gets to have 1 character go first, then alternate between characters from each side, or a full speed based system like final fantasy tactics where if your characters speed is high enough, and the enemy low enough, you could take 2 turns before they take 1. I see the merits and flaws of both. But I know deep down either option is better than team turn orders like we have now

I don't know why but the mechanic game me 400000 after I checked in about 8000 scrap. And yeah I had 10 barter at the time. After that, well who needs money.

Do you have the Antique Barter perk? If not, it might be applied incorrectly to your char then.

With the right builds even SJ isn't that hard.
I was on Ranger but fights just became cake walks. So I started over on SJ.
WL2 was like this also.

I dont even understand what the point of this thread is dude. Why are you even complaining over this?!?! Its normal difficulty. Its there so that people that might just want to enjoy the story or simply run through it quick to experiment and get the hang of the game can use it safely, and then replay it with better knowledge on a more difficult level. You have the option of going up in difficulty you know.
I dont know what the heck is even the point of saying something so useless like this.....
