you didn't talk to the bots at all. that is NOT what they did.
just... stop.
So ask for a reward and kill all the robots.
I did talk to the bots, who were quite happy to attempt to find ways to deceive me. I even left them alive, which is why I know that's the bad choice, when it comes to the miner. Afterwards I loaded the game and killed them. Did you kill them and talk to the miner to see the other side?
If I come to you and start taking away your food, not all of it, but a lot, weekly, without asking you about it, and leave 1$ behind will you accept that? Especially if you believe that food was worth a lot more than that. What if you thought I was going to kill you if you complained about it?
A deal made under duress is not a fair deal.
If the game would have allowed me to negotiate a new deal, I would have done it, but the game did not, so I killed the robots forcing the miner to give away his ore.
LOL yeah, they're sooo good at it.
yeah, done with you now.
also, do look up what the word "extortion" means sometime, you seem to have real issues with words.
Good to see you have no counter argument. It's nice when you admit you are wrong.
"Extortion is obtaining benefit through coercion"
"Extortion, which is not limited to the taking of property, involves the verbal or written instillation of fear that something will happen to the victim if they do not comply with the extortionist's will. "
Maybe it is you who needs a refresher in english.
I was wondering, too, because I originally sided with the robots because I thought he must have an agreement with them and was embarrassed. Their only threat was that they'd leave and not give him food. I'm not sure that is extortion, as he would have plenty of tellurium to sell and get his own food. He does mention he works his fingers to the bone, later, but mining by oneself would be difficult work.
Never did I see the robots threaten anything other than just going away, which would mean they'd "stop taking his ore." Course, I may have missed something. There's nothing to prevent him from hiring a bunch of workers and becoming a powerful CEO of a mining company, as far as I can see, other than illness or laziness.
Still, I replayed it to see if I'd get a different option. The Null robot just kills himself if you don't help him. And if you don't ask Bulb for a reward, he won't give you one.
