Mama Cotter bug

I dont have the patch yet as im playing on gamepass but i havent been able to progress for about 5 days now and just wanted to know if anyone knows if the new patch fixes the Mama Cotter bug during the Unwelcome Guests quest where she just tells you to "Scram" instead of what is meant to happen

Yeah my final objective is to talk to mama cotter but everytime i try to she just says "scram"

You should be able to talk to Gideon Reyes in Broadmoor heights as well, 2 ways the quest can go. You may have done something to anger mama cotter

Same thing happened to me last night, i forgot to allocate transport for the refugees before leaving the bizzare.

Once i did that she would start up the quest convo.

is there a fix for this? super annoying htat i cant progress anymore because i need the radiation upgrade for Kodiak & mama cotter just tells me to go away after exhausting her dialouge.... already talked to the dude in the bizaar to transport them...

I got to the point of calling ranger HQ for the arrest and when I clicked that nothing happened and now I can't progress. My last non-auto save is from about 2 hours earlier and I don't really want to go back due to the insanely long load times.

I killed mama cotter. Is there any other way to get machanic to hq to get upgrades to kodiak?

If you finish Gideon Reyes's quest you get a mechanic and Gideon as advisor for ranger hq

Same bug - stucked for 8 days already. Waiting for the patch.

Same'ish here. Rescued all the refugees; see them in the Springs now. I am suppose to arrest MC or talk to her, but can't find her anywhere. I talked to one lady that said she and mama got seperated, and she did not know where she was.

I am totally trapped, as all other ways I can travel have radiation. So I am really stuck.

Not yet. Have to wait until the next patch. I contacted support about this issue and they requested that we e-mail them a save game that is affected by this issue as well as a log file. Save the game near Mama Cotter and then send the files and reference the bugged quest in your e-mail. Unwelcome Guests / Mama Cotter.

Player Log Location: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\InxileEntertainment\Wasteland3

Save Data Location for the stupid Microsoft Store: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages\DeepSilver.56575194F7E04_hmv7qcest37me\SystemAppData\wgs

There will be gibberish looking file names and folders, make the save you want to send be the most recently saved one and send the file in the folder with the newest timestamp.

Take a few minutes and contribute to the effort and maybe they'll give this fixed sooner rather than later.

Just had a similiar issue: mama cotter would not show up at all in Colorado after the Bizzare. Talking to Reyes did not help either (didn't get the mechanics from him).

There was a small bug when I left Bizzare and continued exploring instead of directly returning to Colorado - got a call from HQ when I hit radiation and they told me to upgrade my vehicel now that I had the mechanics - which I hadn't at this time. After that call I teleported to Colorado and mamas chair was just empty, although the refugees had spawned.

I had a save just prior to leaving the bizzare, this time I directly teleported back to Colorado. luckily Mama is there now. It seems getting out of step just a little bit breaks this quest...

So, before leaving the Bizzare make sure that you have talked
- to Flap to finish his mission
- to the noodle man to recruit him
- to Pareidolia Jones for refugees caravan
- to Ananda Rabindranath to recruit him

then exit and directly teleport to Colorado and enter downtown map first.
