Unpowered safe and terminal in Garden of the Gods?

Anyone know how to power these? The nearby generator doesn't do it, PAI doesn't do it, the switch on one of the gardens doesn't do it...

hit the space bar so you can move your guys independently. have one of them stand on the little square platform that is surrounded by a power cable. assuming you already turned on the generator, you should now have power to the computer. if you have high enough mechanics or science (i forget which, but it's not much), then you can now open the safe using the computer.

There is a ''plate'' on the ground, move someone to stand over it.

You need one of your char to sit on a plate near the PC, but you also needs nerd stuff to crack the safe from the PC.
