Witcher 3 was same way on launch with limited keys you could bind. Players spoke loud and hard and was only resolved via patch months later.
I guess I have to come back to the same issue, games being developed for console users and then PC gets what work done as they see fit to squeak by, which is rarely ever enough.
Well you may have difficulty imagining it, but I've spent a lot of time in the game both on console and PC. It is very fluid gameplay.
Further, what's the problem with the camera controls? I've had no problems fluidly sliding it as I please with simple mouse movements and middle mouse button dragging. I never even use the hotkeys for the camera.
Is this just b***hing for the sake of b***hing, or are you talking about something completely different?
Try changing Q and E for camera rotation. they hard locked for one. lol
Well, I think that's a strange problem to have, but I'm not one of these "lel first wurld prblems deal with it your priveleged kid" kinds of jerks, so I can appreciate the desire to have more-customization of game controls rather than less. Consider my confusion addressed. =)
