Quarex's Hellacious Journey

Hi all,

Quite simply, what am I supposed to do in this quest ? I got the call and we to meet him in the warrens. However, after telling me that his games have been stolen, nothing happens. I've scoured every inch of the place but I can't find either the games or the animals he refers to. Is it a bug or am I just looking in the wrong place ?

I had the same problem: Here's what to do. You have to wander the Warrens until you come across a frozen corpse tied to a wooden pole. There is a tank that blows liquid nitrogen to anyone who walks through it unless you turn the valve. There should be four Razorback Wolverines there. You have to kill them and then a tiny sack with a disk will appear right near that frozen corpse HOWEVER: I am 100% positive that sack did not appear after the fight. It only appeared after I logged out, hit the forums, saw a video for this problem and booted back in. The video was on YouTube under the quests name if that is more help.

I must be bugged then. I know the place you mentioned : there's no razorbacks there in my game.

One more bug for the bug pile. This game really needed more development time.

I ended up closing the game and reloading the game and randomly they appeared. Not sure if this was due to I didn't really pick a side between Brygo's men and the Bizarre.

This Quarex quest is bugged. Also - when I went to the Bizarre after being called to this quest - everyone had been murdered. What the hell? No explanation? No story? No exposition. Just everyone slaughtered and all the shops closed forever? That's a bummer. Seems like this needed some explanation.

There's a hostile takeover perpetrated by Charley Knowes (the quirky enforcer at Little Vegas). If you help them or don't intervene, they'll massacre everyone, but will die themselves in the latter case.

1. Download the Wasteland 3 Save Editor from https://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?p=151245#p151245
2. Open your latest save (or the save you want to edit)
3. Go to Globals
4. Search for the following entry: o2101_HellaciousQuarex_State
5. Change its value from, possibly 1 if it's bugged, to 3 > [Save]
6. Launch the game and load the save you just modified
7. Go to the area with the frozen corpse in the Warrens
8. Slay the monsters
9. Loot the quest item
10. Return it to Quarex

Problem is I haven't found a way yet to make the quest close. Oh well.

Yeah I had no idea that quest was timed.

I had the same problem - no enemies after checking on Quarex. To fix it, I loaded a quicksave before talking to Quarex, went out from Warrens to Bizarre Interior, made a hard save and restarted the game. After loading the hard save, I went outside to Bazaar Exterior, then back in, then to Warrens and talked to Quarex. This time the enemies spawned properly.

I've maybe had this quest trigger twice, but only finish once. Not sure what path requirements are needed because I've run through many variations, and duplicated others.
Definitely (still) bugged.

might be old now but, searched as had same problem.

Quick save where the badgers things are once you kill them and a quick reload resolved it for me. next to the skeleton attached to pole is a small bag depending on camera you may miss it too.
