Yeah, or you could discover nothing for yourself and have someone give you the answer, directly, I guess that works, too.
By the way, that answer should have spoilers around it.
I did my job and tried to arrest the confused "child" who admitted to killing in supposed self-defense. If a childlike robot's response to being asked to go somewhere safe is to open fire, then I believe pumping it full of lead in return is the correct response.
I didn't bother with talking to sheriff, simply ran around following the electrical interference. As for which band member just chose the only one with a weapon, and a energy weapon at that.
Well you sure proved him right.
You should try and play it out the other way on another playthrough. It's pretty interesting.
"robot children" don't exist, I don't like when people try to manipulate me (also leaving october 11 alive leads him to kill more people, yay great choice)
also don't forget to smash every animatronic for extra XP even if you killed october via skill checks
So far I haven't had anyone in the group who could use nerd stuff to interface with October-11 so I just shot him which triggers all the other animatronics to attack me. I also used the radio it will show a message about hearing a modem that was how I figured out where he was at.
