"Elf in a shelf" quest bug

SPOILER!!

I go in the workshop, accidentally click on one of Santa's robot. Attacked it so a fight broke out. I kill all of them and accidentally one of the elf in the fight. The fight ended I talk to one of the elf. She said I need to deactivate her neck bomb. I go in the next room and do just that. All the elf in that room thank me.

Then I also went in, kill the big toads and got the blueprint. I thought the quest was finished so I go out to the world map. I looked at the quest menu and found out that the quest was not finished. So I went back in the workshop, talk to the elf in the first room and a quest message pop out. A cutscene played, the elf in the room run out. The camaer follow them run to the entrance / exit. They stand in the entrance / exit and the game still running but locked in the cutscence. I can't do anything about it but to restart the game.

I talk to the named elf, she runs happily, taking the camera with her, and then the game is just stuck staring at her by the Kodiak. Bummer. I guess I'll finish this quest in my next playthrough.

I found the brain candy recipe in a container. I could not open it but I did shot the container.

Yeah, I had this bug too, in fact, it glitched out my party organization menu back at Ranger HQ and I couldn't even swap companions or anything anymore after that quest bugged out, reloaded, and left. Had to restart.

Same here. I guess no workaround yet? I mean, maybe other than make the elves continue to work but for the Rangers, which I don't want to do.

so this quest also bugged for me but i did not fight anyone i looked around after talking to santa before i talked to the quest giver she told me after looking around to tell santa to get cookies in the kitchen but there was no option for that when i talked to him instead the options were all related to what i found outside i then talked santa to just leaving and set everyone free and was still unable to get the quest to update or end i took pics of what i could

so getting him to go to the kitchen worked for me but I did that prior to looking around and opening doors.

Ey caramba, learned to live with some annoying bugs and crashes, but this is a shame!
(I think I will spent my money more wisely in the future)

Same here, nothing more to do in the area and the quest is still open and wants me to find the elf.

Is this already announced?

Can this be fixed please??
