Please consider compiling a non-il2cpp version
il2cpp is the WORST thing Unity ever came up with. I lov3ed Wasteland 2 and was looking forward to this game as well. However, il2cpp makes modding the game almost impossible (certainly more trouble that its worth). Please consider compiling the game without this compiler option and making it available on a separate branch for Steam users who wish to mod the game.
p.S. It also help greatly in debugging problems since line numbers and class names are available.

+1, it could be a separate branch on Steam that does not use IL2CPP to give fans of your art a better way to modify the game.

Yeah. That's what I'm hopping for. I had a lot of fun modding Wasteland 2.

interesting you mentioned that because i recall seeing an interview with of the devs discussing modding and basically saying that they were open up to it. whatever that means.

I absolutely support this. Please do - there are so many things I would have already fixed.

+1 most definitely. also... there is ZERO reason to encrypt the save games. yeah, really, on the PC the savegames are encrypted with Python. why?

it's not a terrible ordeal to use a python packer/unpacker, but still... why bother to encrypt them to begin with? they're just simple xml files.
