Wasteland 3
Help on november reigns
Spoilers, obviously.
So, I'm on the hunt for the rare and elusive ending of November Reigns, and ending that doesn't go for the grimdark of the other two. The problem is getting the thousand families to support me. Rep is not the problem, my reputation is maxed, and there is much love coming from them. However, from the instant I put their guy in my control room, when I asked him about a peaceful overthrow of the Patriarch, he says "Sadly, rangers, I don't think a peaceful resolution is possible anymore."
...Seriously? You just got here, what's this 'Anymore' nonsense. Now, the only think I can think that -might- have locked me out is doing aspen before denver, and taking the little knife nut alive. Now, I've heard conflicting reports on what to do with the P's kids, since I heard the main thing was 1)get the marshals to love and support you, 2) get the families to love and support you (which is my sticking point), and 3) let the oil flow to the city, which I did by playing body snatcher with brainy boy. Do you think I should have done denver first, put the gibber in his new flesh suit, then capped the nut? I did Aspen to get the last good character as early as I could, but if that's keeping me locked out she can wait a while longer.
Advice and tips would be well recieved.

Have you talked to sheriff?
Talked to the marshal sheriff, she's A'ok with me strolling on in. Just need the families to back me up.
Am I reading it right that you visited Aspen/Denver before recruiting Gideon Reyes? I wonder if that affects it. When I got that ending, I recruited Gideon Reyes before going after the kids and he told me what to do. For what it is worth, I got the ending by overwriting Valor's brain and killing the other two kids.
Yeah, I'm thinking a) doing the cities out of level order might have been a whoopsy, and B) letting the kid live was bad. Looks like my favorite green skinned scientist is going to wait two thirds of the game before I recruit her.
ignore his words "Sadly, rangers, I don't think a peaceful resolution is possible anymore." At the end, he will support you. The news boy announces that Reyes is supporting you. No idea if doing aspen first will ruin your plans to achieve november reigns, but it probably shouldn't. I have this achievement and it is not difficult. You just need to have a loved reputation with Marshals and Hundred families and oil restore. Killing Buchanas is up to you. One more thing, you can't have a loved reputation with refugees. Only liked or below.
Had not heard that about the refugees (loved by the unwashed masses), so I'll keep trucking and see how it goes.
What benefit is there for having the refugees love you?

Can you get them to act as bullet sponges and then be prepared as food after they throw themselves hand over fist in front of your rangers to absorb bullets and protect those that are more equal than others during your glorious revolution of the proletariat?

If no, that is not an option... well phooey. I wanted a glorious revolution where I also managed to free up space in the city and befriended the 100 families somewhat later than when the script called for, due to the more accomodating population shift (and nutritional provisioning made possible via mystery meats) resulting from patrotic population controls.

I got "loved" by all factions but I don't think the refugees matters. I also got the November Reigns achievement.
Refugee don't mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They not even mentioned in the ending so you don't need to bother about them. Either ransom or deal with gippers
I'm supposed to get the ending yet I didn't

The only thing I can think of is that instead of sending Mama Cotter to Marshal I sent her to Ranger HQ. It still yield me reputation with Marshal but yet I didn't get November Reign.
Sending Mama Cotter to Ranger HQ is fine for that ending. That was what I picked when I got that ending. She was my only prisoner.
Well then I have no idea what's wrong. Every other ones I chose to send them to Marshals including Brian Fargo, I meant Faran Brygo. What other things I did:
I made Valor God President.
I recruited Vic.
Besides the reps and getting the oil flowing which you did, I accepted Gideon Reyes' offer to work as my advisor and talked with both him and Sheriff Daisy about a peaceful transfer of power. I killed Vic but I don't know if that actually mattered.

Maybe because you recruited Vic? During the last part where Angela ask for a plan on how to handle the Patriarch, who agreed with you? Here is the summary of a good ending and I got the November Reigns https://steamcommunity.com/app/719040/discussions/3/2952629278013445954/

I got half my base against me and had to handcuff Kwon, although Lucia sided with me, and I have to fight through the base which isn't what November Reign ending would be. My guess is somehow my "Loved" reputation isn't enough with the Marshals? Daisy keeps saying she will back me, but looks like the Marshals recruit didn't.
