I got one for ya. Admittedly this was dumb on my part, but never make a defensive pact with a treacherous AI personality.
If they get attacked and ask for your help, they will lower their opinion of you after you do exactly what they asked. "Hey, I noticed you're at war with someone new and now I dislike you more because you're in a weaker position, given you've just entered a new war".

Loyal AI ally wanting you to go to war with an AI you have a treaty with. Refuse? You lose the alliance, AI hates you for breaking the alliance. Go to war? The AI hates you now for breaking the treaty that it demanded you break just a turn ago.
demmanding help in a war, i accepted.
next turn: i dont like your performance so i end the defense pact with you.
turn after that: you do great, lets make a defense pact
.....
Furthermore, if you guys ever encounter behaviour where the AI doesn't act in accordance with your expectations just reach out to us. Make a bug report on the forums or sent us a email with a description and before/after saves and we'll have a look at the AI planning.
