Petition to Bring Remote Play Together to AOW PF

It is a new feature where one person owns the game and streams it to the other player while the play a Hotseat campaign.

If you start a new scenario, you can select two Human players and whatever number of AI you want. Without remote play together, when you advance your turn, you literally just change seats. You get up from the computer chair, and your friend sits down and plays their turn. Then he or she is done they hit end turn and the AIs take their turn. Then you reassume the computer chair and play your turn. Thus "hotseat." It's been a feature of AOW games and many other Turn-Based Strategy games.

With Remote Play Together I can set up a Hotseat campaign/scenario and stream my game to my friend, who doesn't even need to own AOW PF. I finish my turn, then the game hands control of my computer to my friend who sees all the gameplay on a special Steam window. They take their turn and then hit end turn and yadda yadda, a great time is had by all.

AOW3 has this feature. AOW PF does not. Please leave a comment here if you would like to see this feature get implemented on Planetfall.

I know of several people that are on the fence of buying it due to the change in setting, but if they played just a little bit of it co-op style in a Remote Play Together scenario, I know they'd come off the fence and buy it.

You just go into the New Scenario screen, open your friends list and then right click the friend you want to invite. The pop up menu should have the option 'Remote Play Together.' You will stream the game to your friends system and share control of your mouse and keyboard.
