It looks great, really hope it's on Linux.

I would hope so.
AoW 3's Linux Clien has/had hit major roadblocks during its implementation but mainly the financial aspect was/is the reason why its state is not really satisfactory.

Seeing how AoW:Planetfall is being published by Paradox, a rather beefy enterprise, I doubt the financial aspect would be a similiarly big obstacle than with AoW 3

I came here asking about this as well. I saw the announcement and that its so far Windows only, and was really disappointed. I love AoW3, and would hate to miss out on this one.

What i heard, its unconfirmed but firmly on the wishlist. Someone else asked and i though i heard somethimg along the lines of "were trying hard, but no promises". Dont quote me on this. I' ll try to ask again today. However, do note pdxplaza only lists mac and windows as os that are supported.

Well, thats one OS more than is listed on Steam, so that's something.

Official word : linux is on the wishlist, but theres no promises yet. Also, the devs werent aware yet that paradox advertised with mac support. So....that might just vanish sometime, depending on how it goes. Or perhaps release a few months later.

Currently, the priority is on the consoles in these matters.

Console ports? For a PDX game?. . .You sure about that?

Yes, Triumph stated so during the game's reveal on paradoxcon

Well then, this game is on my wishlist as well, but no promise on a purchase yet.

Interesting. Well, I'd rather have it for Linux than PS4, but I do own a PS4. Of course, I can play a Linux game 10 years from now, while my PS4 is collecting dust in a box.

Please do consider a Linux port, we are many Linux users around the world, and I'm certain many of us would love to buy your game! :-)

Count me in for a purchase if a Linux version is made.

Loved AoW3 on Linux despite its issues. I'd buy the next game in the series in a heartbeat if it supports Linux and isn't otherwise terrible. With Day-1 Linux support I'll definitely preorder it.

I've actually been checking Triumph's website periodically to see what they were up to. I was afraid that the studio had failed and AoW3 was the final entry in the series.

I've heard mention of issues, but I can't actually recall any worth mentioning (or at least none worth remembering).
