Virus in the game?

Bootstrap_v2.exe is infected with IDP.Generic according to my anti virus sofware. Naturally quarantined it, and now I'm asking, is this a false positive, and why would the devs use code suspicious enough to cause a false positive?

I can't find a file named Bootstrap_v2.exe in steamapps\common\Age of Wonders Planetfall

And where is the location of the process/file?

Bootstrap is a Steam process i believe

Oh, sry, it's bootstrapper-v2.exe. And it's not in thge Age of Wonders Planetfall folder, it's in AppData\Local\Programs\Paradox Interactive

Then its a game related process, probably having to do with a launcher or online aspect of the game

Please make an exception in your AntiVir to resolve this issue.

Hmmmm..... I don't like it, but I spent a lot of money on the game so I better let my paranoia rest and just exempt it. I mean, I have multiple launchers with online components installed with no issue, so I wonder what specifically paradox is doing to make my AV freak out. Oh well.
