Why hasn't an event flag triggered?

Alright I'm in the cave, I have 10 crystal shards and am in the room with the waterfall in it where you fight the like 5 crystal wardens. But no event flag triggers after you beat them all, plus there's no additional exits to the room. Is this a bug?

It's May and Suki's game, part two in the trilogy, is almost here.

Suki's Spooky Romance--a slight name change from the working title--should be out for sale this month. You can find the, "Coming Soon," page here:
