BUG: Illegal Saxon move?
I think I encountered the (easy difficulty) AI making an illegal move. In the screenshot below, I was playing Nordic, when the Saxons suddenly moved their mech from the tundra tunnel hex near the bottom of the screen to the mountain (with my mine) near the top. As I recall, my mech and a worker were already on that mountain and lost the resulting battle (retreating to the lake), but even if they weren't, I still controlled the hex with my mine.

From my reading of the faction/mech abilities, this should be illegal. The closest Saxon ability is Underpass, which says "mountains [they] control and all tunnels are considered to be adjacent to each other." The problem is that I controlled the destination mountain hex, not them, so it shouldn't have been a valid move.

Perhaps there's a bug that combines Underpass with the Saxon Riverwalk (to mountains)? Or my mine was incorrectly classified as a general-use tunnel?

Or am I missing something that makes it legal?

Okay, it happened again (see updated Imgur link above). This time both the Saxons and Nordics were AI, and Saxony moved their character all the way from the mountain next to their home base, to the forest next to the Nordic home base. Once again, it seems like the game was combining their Underpass ("from controlled mountain") and Riverwalk ("to forest") abilities.

Another glitch: Saxony committed 0 power to the battle (the space contained the Nordic character and a worker) and were immediately sent back home, but the combat log entry says the following:

Nordic 5
(blank line)
(ammo symbol) 5
lost (popularity symbol) 1
Saxony 0

No one should have lost any popularity from this battle, because the defender won and thus no workers were sent home. (I don't know if any popularity was actually deducted, or if the mistake was only in the log.)

I also had a bug with Saxony's Underpass mech hability:

I was playing Polania and had just built a mine on my Homeland's territory. Next move from Saxony was their mech moving to my mine.

I think that's illegal according to the rules. Their hability grants move to any tunnel, not any mine (unless it's their own's mine).

Saxon riverwalk ability allows them to move caross rivers to mountains and forests. The game just skipped the whole move. What they did was:
Moved from their tunnel to the tunnel with the forest, then crossed the river to your mountain.
The move is legal unless Saxon doesn't have the riverwalk and +1 mech ability to do this (which i cant say because there is no info on your screen about this).

Ah, ok, i see that Saxony deployed every mech, so the move is legal.
What's for you second screen is the same issue: they used underpass ability to reach the tunnel with tundra an crossed the river with riverwalk ability.
For some reasons game skips most of animation when bots are moving (IDK why) and i also experienced this situation, but when you check for illegal movements it's actually legal if they do it in 2 moves. Happens every time when someone attacks.
Ah okay, that makes sense. The animation & the "dotted line" from the log are showing it as a single movement point, when they were really using two. So the display issue should still be fixed, but at least the computer isn't blatantly cheating. :)
