Scythe: Digital Edition - Soundtrack for Mac

Hello! I have purchased the base game but I am not able to download the soundtrack on my Mac. Does the Mac version of the game already come with all the music or would anyone know the location of the downloaded song on Mac please?

I had the same issue. It's a known problem on the Steam client. Google Search "Steam dlc not installing" and you should find a fix. I do not remember precisely how I got my content to load, but I remember it was very easy after doing that search :)

Thanks but on Steam App, it does say it is downloaded, and I guess the songs will not be able to show up in the music player as there is no such older in Mac:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scythe Digital Edition\Scythe soundtrack

Are the files just MP3 files? I really like the music and would listen even when not playing the game but can't seem to download on my mac. I could get my son to download them on his windows box and just save them if they are MP3 files, but the question is why can't I just do that on the Mac?

They are just MP3s. It sounds like the issue is because they default download to a file path that does not exist in Macs. If you can change the file path they download to, you might be able to get them directly on your mac.

Have you tried to follow the simple steps in the chapter Music of my guide? Let me know if it works or not on Mac.

Thanks for a wonderful guide and guess what, I open the folder today and magically the soundtrack appears without me having to do anything. :-)

Anyway, for those who uses Mac, below is the location of the downloaded soundtrack:

~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Scythe Digital Edition/Scythe soundtrack
