Expansions (answered..... kind of)

I have seen many people ask about expansions and if they are going to be happening in the future. I have also seen a mention of a road map for the development of this game and a mention that the expansions were on the road map but are not any longer. my questions are:

1. Has anyone received a definitive answer about the expansions?
2. Where is this road map that i keep reading about?
3. Is there another way we can contact the developers to get an answer to this question?

I would love to see and hope all the expansions will be released in the future. Invaders from Afar, Wind Gambit, and Rise of Fenris.

EDIT: I emailed the Knights of Unity asking about the expansions and received the following answer.

"Hello Brian!

I'm afraid that we are not able to tell you if expansions will be on our roadmap. These information are under NDA with our publisher Asmodee Digital. Before they announce DLC's officially we cannot confirm or deny anything.

If you want to increase chances that expansions will come into life you can do 3 things:
- play and feedback the game, especially the online mode (we would like to polish it as much as we can),
- spread the news about the digital edition to your friends,
- write a review on Scythe's steam page (positive I hope ;) ).

I have been playing ths game from table top to digital and absolutely love the transition. Sometimes playing a new board game can be very involved when trying to learn the dynamics and rules. Playing the digital version helped me understand fully how the game plays in full.

Since learning the full game, I have been longing for expansions to come out for the digital version too. Please, please, please bring it out soon.

I for one would be very interested in getting the board game expansions as DLC to this game. Hopefully Scythe gets the popularity it deserves.

How many games must I buy and how much feedback must I provide to secure these future expansions releases?! On the other hand, Steam limits to only one positive review! ;)

I have asked before and got an answer from one of the devs that basically said if the game performs well enough that they can afford to make the expansions and have the required support from the community to make that worthwhile that they will get around to it.

This was months and months ago before the medium AI was even implemented but I would imagine that still stands aslong as they have the indivuduals willing to purchase new content to keep game going:)

Count me in. I would gladly purchase this as an add on. Better yet, those whom have purchased it already as the separate digital game board could have an option to "donate" funds to have an upgrade when they do release it.
