Beat the game. Spoilers obviously. Some questions, etc.
Wish the ending of the ending was less open, not the biggest fan of fan interpretation since at the end of the day it's all just headcanon/fanon. Even the last two leaves coming off and landing in front of the trees or something would've been satisfying since it means they know they could return after setting out to do what they did. They did what they did to assume fix up the world and bring back all the people taken by Barclyss. I noticed that Larren and Minake were exempt from being revived in the world we played in and saw, and by proxy making Slash choose to stay with Minake, yet in the blue vision of the Future Stone, all three, on top of Xero and Enda, were all alive. Does that mean it was possible to have brought them back? Curious about it since the Future Stone seems to show possible futures, and the blue bordered ones could have been possible but won't come to fruition. You're led to believe it meant death, but Asera did state early on that not enough research was done on it. With Kina and Enda, both are still alive despite getting blue visions, with the latter dooming the planet if she died.

Anyways, head's still a mess a bit. Hope I can recall things well if there's any or even slow discussion. The story was wonderful, I really liked the time travel implementation of The Guides, since it really adheres to the butterfly effect and that every Xero had different experiences but all (?) of them except ours really took a turn for the better. Latter half of the time travel is more iffy to me, but it's fitting enough I suppose, but unsure if it was the kind where all story beats were undone, or if it was them going back to becomes the trees of life in the same world/timeline. I'm leaning on the latter.

Random bit, the picture in the background of the Steam Discussions, is that Heindrovia in the party? Also, I think Morsan should have been better established as a "friend" early on in the game, and have appeared in some of their flashbacks. Could have had a powerful deck with all the gold he scammed off of Xero or something. I was expecting him to be a bad guy from early on, so hard to say what could have mitigated that, but perhaps seeming more like an actual childhood friend. Without flashbacks early on, it could still be better established, like making him join you in the cave after Ellea, either as a tagalong like Farrel, or a temporary party member.
