My brother and I spent 9 years on this game it has changed so much over the years and it finally sold over 1000 copies on Steam which is so amazing!

To celebrate its now %50 off on Steam so if you weren't able to afford full price now you can give it a try. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us over the years this is how the game used to look years ago and it was very different before:

9 years later and we sold 1000 copies of this game which is so cool! The younger version of me would have been so happy to know that. We are happy doing what we love which is making games!

Sorry that the updates have taken a while I have been sick but we have a major update coming in the next few days. so stay tuned for that.

Quick Fixes

Fixed tutorial text being… a little bigger than usual, to say the least.
You will no longer waste mid-air jumps when attempting to jump during a “skill freeze” effect (Most notably Turtle Cower and Rock Shield).
The Owl Insight animal ability now has four charges instead of six.
Removed periods from the Toxic Orb’s Torment upgrade level blurbs for consistent language usage.
Fixed a bug with the Dual Wielder relic’s effect stacking when it shouldn’t.
Fixed a bug with the backer-exclusive rainbow glider’s visual effect stacking while the game is paused.

Backer Weapons!

We’ve completed four backer weapons! They’ll be available in the Favor Shop at a variety of tiers. We’re still working hard on the rest of them,
Check out the grisly Dante’s Sacrifice at Favor Level 2.
Check out the retro Sword of Hope at Favor Level 3.
Check out the tactical Momster 3000 at Favor Level 4.
Check out the whimsical Mandolin at Favor Level 5.

Other Weapon Changes

Reworked the Leaf Axe’s Scorch upgrade (but not the Magma Orb’s version of it) to now apply burn damage proportionate to damage dealt (Similarly to the Fox Heart weapon infusion), so it may better synchronize with its other upgrade paths.
Added a smoother transition when exiting most levels.
Fixed rare occasions when mysterious unused weapon sprites appear when picking up new weapons.

GUI Rework

Reworked how many UI functionalities work in the backend to make way for future quality of life and optimization patches.
Fixed slow GUI animations and transitions for some unfortunate players.
Improved the readability of textboxes for weapon/infusion/relic pickups and other interactables.
Adjusted the equipment screen to make navigating it less jarring.

Skin Flavoring

Renamed the “Standard” and “Classic” Koboo skins to “Classic” and “Matte”.
Added flavour text for each of the skins.
Added bars for each of the locked skins in the skin selector screen to indicate how many more times a boss must be defeated normally to acquire it.

Weapon and Relic Fixes

Magma Orbs are now made asynchronous to their slot, so when dual-wielding them, they’ll be evenly spaced from other orbs (as long as they have the same level of Inferno) until one set acquires a higher attack speed.
Toxic Orbs are now made asynchronous to their slot, so when dual-wielding them, the shots will fire in evenly spaced intervals until one acquires a higher attack speed.
Relic popups will no longer be opened immediately as the relic spawns.
Fixed relics changing colours when dropped in favor of the Chameleon relic

crash in third world

Before the 1st or 2nd fight of the third world, the game froze while jumping in the air. I had magma and poison orbs equipped, not sure if that helps.

Can't continue game.

For some reason after the tutorial the game is just a black screen, I can see the cursor and hear music, but that's all. I can't go to the menu, can't continue etc.

1. With this kinda game, you REALLY gotta offer key rebinds before putting out a demo like this. Using WASD to jump and Shift to dash in a sidescroller is just awful. There's a reason a lotta newer games put dodge roll on Space. 2. The mix of pixel densities and the way sprites scale is pretty ugly. 3. I wish you could see both the current critical hit location and the next critical hit location so you could chain attacks more fluidly. Now there's a kind of stop-and-start as you try to figure out wh...
