Repetitive encounters, getting the true ending is random even with a guide, not a waste of money since it's so cheap but it's definitely a waste of time.

The first thing I say is: If you are easily frustrated and annoyed, this is not the Game for you.
For those who don't want to read, I give this Game a 6.5/10. Middle of the road.

So, ever since Indeimaus played this Game on his Channel I also wanted to try it out. Now I finally got around to it.
The first half was actually pretty cool and enjoyable. You could explore at your own pace and still had those "running away from the 'monster'" sequences. It was not stressful.
Also, let me say that this Game was not scary at all but had cool imagery. The Artstyle is pretty crisp here.
But the second half, it was stressful and annoying. I know this Game is probably supposed to make you feel unsafe but here you felt like that every second in every room and every door you go through.
And here is the problem: Not in a "scary unsafe" way but rather an "annoying unsafe" way.
You outrun "the Killer" then you have to backtrack sometimes longer sections and right before you arrive where you have to go, "the Killer" shows up again and you have to outrun her again.
This happened way too often and as I said, it wasn't scary but just annoying.

So the first half of the Game I played blind, after that I was just so annoyed that I used a "bullet point walkthrough" for the rest of the Game just to finish it faster, because I didn't want to search and explore anymore, because basically you are never safe.
Especially in the "endgame".

So, I reached Ending 4. Probably the bad one I guess. Took me around 4 hours and at the moment I am not planning on doing another playthrough. Maybe some day.
Also, this Game doesn't have a local Save File. Well, it kinda does, it is apparently in the registry but not in a Folder.
And the Steam Version doesn't have Achievements which is also a bummer, because for a Game like this Achievements could help to motivate you a little more for playing (again).

So yeah, mixed feelings here, I am still going to recommend it because I know there are people out there that live for that kind of stress. (Keep in mind, annoying, not scary, like for example Amnesia: The Bunker.)
Also I am still going to play "The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters" and hope that this is not as annoying. At least the 2nd one has Achievements.
Want to play it before The Coma 2B: Catacomb comes out.
But for the asking price or a sale price, this was still pretty good...

I would really like to give this game a good review but I can't. It looks great and I am really interested in the story but I can't play this. The problems I am experiencing may be very selective, something not many seem to experience, so be aware that this is a review based on the games performance, not the content.

The keyboard seems to be poorly supported. I can't even get past the "press 'A' key" screen. Literally smashing every single key on my keyboard did nothing, so I went and got my controller. This finally worked, yay, but nothing on the shop site told me I absolutely have to use a controller. But it is what it is (and should get fixed).

But here's my real issue. The whole thing reacts badly to my controller. Things I can interact with pop up the second I walk past them. There seems to be a delay on every key input. I am in the very first nightmare section running from the teacher. I can't run. The time it takes for the game to realize what I want it to do gets me killed again and again. I just went in and out of a closet 5 times in a row. Because I press the button to interact, and nothing happens. So I press it again. Then I enter the closet, but also get back out again, because, well I pressed the button twice, didn't I?

This game needs at least a second to catch up with my controller input and the keyboard doesn't work at all. I also just happened to read a very long memo when that lovely lady appeared behind me. And well... I died. Because I coulnd't cancel nor skip fast enough reading that memo.

I understand hard gameplay, but this is not hard gameplay. This is buggy, very buggy. Frustratingly buggy. There are a lot of good and positive reviews and I wish I could share one as well. It looks so great and I don't want to halfass this game because of the input-lags I experience. I could walk past all the notes and memos, but I don't want to skip over the worldbuilding and storytelling.
